The Commercial & Industrial (C&I) stream also contains a large component of recoverable and recyclable materials that are landfilled, primarily as due to a lack of source separation systems.

EC Sustainable undertakes analysis of the components of the C&I stream to characterise components by weight and volume, to identify landfilling and processing capability. This can be undertaken prior to collection or after collection when loads are discharged.
