EC Sustainable grows plants with discarded food waste
EC Sustainable staff supported International Composting Awareness Week (ICAW) 2015. As a part of our activities, EC Sustainable staff used seeds discarded from lunch to grow new plants. The seeds were grown using input materials from our worm farm, including compost, food waste and worm tea.
These butternut squash were grown in the office after the seeds germinated in the worm farm during ICAW 2015.
