EC Sustainable turns business cards into trees!
EC Sustainable exhibited at the 2012 Resource Efficiency & Waste Management Solutions Exhibition (RWM) in the United-Kingdom in September. The EC Sustainable team decided to Plant a Tree for each business card inserted in the EC card box! It was a great way to engage visitors while having a positive carbon footprint! EC Sustainable has initiated a Greenhouse Gas Inventory to analyse its carbon footprint with Carbon Neutral!
The total carbon inventory calculated for EC Sustainable is 213 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (TCO2e) for 2011/12. Approximately 83% of the business’s carbon footprint is from air travel. In addition to currently purchasing 100% Greenpower, EC Sustainable has decided to reduce its carbon footprint by offsetting part of its emissions through two different projects:.. read more →
Lifeline charity chocolate box
EC Sustainable has equipped our office with a charity chocolate box supplied from Lifeline, a national charity which provides 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services to all Australians. Staff can satisfy their sweet cravings and not feel guilty about it! read more →
EC Sustainable set to run for charity
EC Sustainable’s managing director, Kevin Morgan, will run the 10km course at the Valley Stampede on 17 November 2012. The Valley Stampede is a 5km or 10km charity run through obstacles and mud.
