EC Sustainable has substantially expanded our fleet of Hybrid vehicles

EC Sustainable has substantially expanded our fleet of Hybrid vehicles as part of our strategy to achieve a net zero emissions target. All of our company car fleet is now Hybrid, with four Toyota Prius C Hybrids and four Toyota Corolla Ascent Hybrids.

Based on the Australian Government Green Vehicle Guide:

The Toyota Prius C Hybrid, 2015, has:

•  An average fuel consumption of just 3.9L per 100km.
•  A CO2 emission of just 90g per km.

The Toyota Corolla Ascent Hybrid, 2021, has:

•  An average fuel consumption of just 3.5L per 100km.
•  A CO2 emission of just 81g per km.

Our Net Zero strategy also includes:

•  New low energy office lighting funded by a grant from the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS).
•  100% Greenpower for our offices supplied by Energy Australia.
•  A 200 tonne carbon offset with Carbon Neutral to offset against emissions for our fleet of trucks and utilities.
