EC Sustainable wins the Award for Sustainable Transport at the Better Business Awards 2015

EC Sustainable is proud to have won the Award for Sustainable Transport at the Better Business Awards held last Friday at The Concourse in Chatswood!

The Better Business Partnership is an initiative of 4 Sydney North Shore Region Councils (Ku-ring-gai, Lane Cove, North Sydney and Willoughby City Councils) aiming at assisting businesses improve their environmental performance.

Every year the Better Business Awards celebrate the achievements of local businesses who are working towards sustainability. EC Sustainable won in the category Sustainable Transport. This category promotes sustainable transport options, as they help reduce pollution and are good for the health of staff members. EC Sustainable implemented GPS tracking of all vehicles which helps with route optimisation and monitoring fuel consumption. Staff members and clients mainly commute by public transport, by foot and sometimes use bicycles and car share. We also have two hybrid vehicles in our fleet.

We are proud to be a ‘Better Business’ and will continue working with BBP to ensure we keep doing what we do best in a sustainable manner.
