Quality Policy
EC Sustainable has developed a Quality Management Systems consistent with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. The system commenced in 2003 and is currently not certified, although a certification process is under consideration.
The quality management system certification process commenced with appointment of a Project Officer on 16 May 2011 and progress to date is summarised by the following milestones:
- A Quality Management Committee (QMC) was established in which to guide the process for accreditation.
- An internal auditor has been appointed to provide periodic feedback and guidance.
- Outputs from the process to date include:
- Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Quality Manual.
- Procedures for Control of Documents, Control of Records, Non-Compliance Control, Preventive Actions, Corrective Actions and Internal Audit.
- Work Instructions across the full range of field and administrative functions in the business.
