EC Sustainable has a team of permanent waste and resource recovery field delivery staff that are site ready for fieldwork support across Australia. Staff are available at hourly, daily or weekly rate hire or rate may be negotiable for longer-term projects.

Applicable duties may relate to infrastructure set-up, collection and sorting, such as:

• At point of collection:
  • Bin maintenance, repairs and upgrades including installation of RFID tags.
  • Bin rollouts for trials
  • Bin room improvement such as signage and stickers.
  • Manual collection staff for rear loader collections (e.g. clean-up collections, commercial collections).
• At point of processing and disposal:
  • Litter collection and site clean-up.
  • Sorting of recoverables in MRF or transfer station for programs or trials:
    • From piles
    • Off conveyor belts
  • Decontamination of recyclables and garden organics
  • Removal of out of specification materials in landfills or facilities.
  • Equipment operation: bobcat, loader, forklift.

All staff are trained in pre-requisite and WHS requirements. This includes current WHS cards, manual handling, vaccinations for Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus and police record checks for your confidence. 

Staff have completed a range of site inductions and other specific training for a range of onsite competency. PPE such as safety boots and high visibility overalls is provided for staff. 

By using our experienced trained staff who want to conduct site work long-term in the waste and resource recovery field, you will gain confidence in the efficiency and quality of the project.

Staff may be used to cover annual leave, holidays, sick leave, new process trials or other temporary shortages.
